John Cena to call off his wedding with Nikki Bella

Last year, Wrestlemania witnessed one of the most emotional moments in the event’s history, as John Cena proposed to Nikki Bella and asked her to marry him in the middle of the ring.

It happened after the mixed tag team match in which Cena & Nikki teamed up against Miz & Maryse. Cena and Nikki picked up the win, as the pair soaked in the applause from the WWE Universe.

After the event, Cena spoke about the moment and described it as one of the best moments of his life.

“I found the right person. I found a strong person that I consider an inspiration,” Cena admitted. “An equal. Someone when I’m down, can pick me up. It took a person that strong to change my life.”

Even Nikki spoke about that moment, and considered it a beautiful moment in their lives.

“I never would have thought that he would have proposed in front of all those people. But that’s home for us,” she shared. “WWE is our home. It’s where we met. It’s our passion and our life. For me, it’s like, he is my prince charming. And he’s saying, I want her to be my queen, at our home in front of our family. And honestly, I couldn’t have asked for it to be any other way. It was perfect.”

Now we hear that there may be trouble in paradise for the couple, as according to some reports, the marriage is all set to be called off.

In a recent interview, Cena admitted that there are some issues in his relationship, but nothing that he cannot go through.

“The underlying theme here, guys and gals—especially with Valentine’s day coming up—don’t give up. If it’s something that’s really genuinely that meaningful to you, you will find a way to make it work. And I am determined—through thick and thin—to find a way to make it work.”

Only time will tell whether or not this was all for a show, or if there is genuine strife between Cena and Bella.
