Jose Mourinho speaks about problems caused by Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial

Jose Mourinho has spoken about the problems caused by Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial.

Jose Mourinho was critical about the players when he was in charge of Manchester United. The Portuguese International bashed out the mentality of the players in media, which in turn affected the results during the later stages of his stint.

Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial have been singled out for their juvenile behavior at times. Jose Mourinho, who is currently spending his time as a pundit, remained light-tipped when he was asked if Paul Pogba was the only player for his failure at Old Trafford.

Since the contract problems are running around currently, players have struggled to focus on the pitch. Same problem occurred when Mourinho was in charge of the club earlier this season.

He said that the problems does not surprise him anymore.

“From Manchester United, I mean only two things,” Mourinho said. “One is that time has spoken. Two is that the problems are still there.

When asked if he had been a ‘victim’ of Pogba, Mourinho replied. “No no. The problems are there, you can imagine that it is the players, the organisation, the ambition. I only say that I cannot say when you ask if Paul was the only one responsible.”

Mourinho did not deny there were ‘conflicts’ with Martial when he was asked whether the situation was comparable with his relationship with Karim Benzema at Real Madrid.

“With Karim it was not a conflict,” Mourinho added. “I just wanted to help the player – an incredibly talented player – to change his mindset, to help him reach his maximum. To become a killer, a determined center forward. I really enjoyed working with Karim.

“Martial? He is a boy with a different personality. The thing I can say is that I hope he will reach a dimension to the lure of his real potential.”

The ongoing problem at Manchester United is to filter out the players who really want to represent the club at any circumstances. Players take everything for granted and managers become the victim of that sequence.
