Cristiano Ronaldo puts Juventus in the lead with a devastating leaping header vs Sampdoria in their Serie A clash at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris.

Cristiano Ronaldo has not had the best of starts to his season with Juventus. There were lots of talks about the Portuguese being a spent force and that age had finally caught up to him. However, Ronaldo has put all that talk to rest with a gravity defying header against Sampdoria.

There is very little doubt about Cristiano Ronaldo’s threat in the air. However, this particular strike is unreal. To watch him tower everyone before perfectly connecting the ball with his head to find the back of the net is pure joy.

Earlier in the match, Paulo Dybala broke the deadlock with a goal in the 19th minute before the home team equalised in the 35th minute. Cristiano Ronaldo then produced this absolute worldie just before half-time to hand Juventus the advantage.

At the moment of writing Juventus lead the match 1-2 with 20 minutes left in the match. With Inter Milan hot on Juventus’ heels, 3 points are extremely crucial to the Italian champions. Should they win this match, they will have a 3-point lead over Antonio Conte’s side. Although, Inter have a game in hand and could take the lead with a superior goal difference.
