Kevin de Bruyne has been the heartbeat of Manchester City in the first few weeks of the Premier League and has now continued the same form for his country Belgium in the Euro 2020 qualifiers against Scotland.

De Bruyne was on the sidelines for most of last season with an injury. However, he has quickly made up for lost time with his phenomenal performances. The Belgian has so far provided 3 assists and a goal for the Sky blues this season.
How could he top this? By doing the same for his country, but in one single match!
De Bruyne starred in all 4 goals scored tonight as Belgium thrashed a hapless Scotland side 4-0. 3 goals and 1 assist, clearly, he was the best player on the park today with no one even near him.

In the 9th minute of the match, De Bruyne led a counter attack shortly after Scotland looked a little threatening. He took the ball all the way to the opposition’s box and sneaked a pass to Romelu Lukaku who brilliantly placed the ball inside the net.

The 2nd assist
In the 24th minute of the match, De Bruyne found Thomas Vermaelen with a trademark cross. Vermaelen headed the ball to double the lead and give his skipper his second assist of the day.

The Hat-trick assist
In the 32nd minute of the match, Toby Alderweireld jumped high to head a corner from the Manchester City star to help complete his hat-trick of assists.

A hat-trick of assists in the space of 23 minutes. In the process, he has now become he first player to assist three goals in the same game of the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying match.
The 4th goal
As if the 3 assists weren’t enough exhibition for the day, De Bruyne decided to add a goal to his kitty in the 82nd minute of the match to put the icing on the cake.
