KKR vs MI Dream 11 team Predictions: IPL Dream 11 Fantasy Cricket Tips for KKR vs MI as TSR helps you make a great Dream 11 team

KKR suddenly find themselves in a corner with only one way to come out of it. Win the remaining 3 games and hope for things to go your way in the final phase of the season.

MI on the other hand sit pretty at the number 2 spot on the table and are just a win away from securing that playoff spot. With a healthy head-to-head record against KKR, one would expect MI to get over the line, but we have seen funnier things happen in cricket.

With their backs against the wall, KKR will be forced to come up with something special and they have Andre Russell in their ranks to help them pull a rabbit out of the hat.

Let’s get to business no.

KKR vs MI Dream 11 team Predictions

Wicketkeeper for KKR vs MI Dream 11 team

Quinton de Kock and Dinesh Karthik go at it for the wicketkeeping slot in my KKR vs MI Dream 11 team. Now, going by normal procedure, I would get in Quinton de Kock over DK, as QDK opens the batting, whereas DK could slot in that middle order, mostly coming in at 4, but maybe going down the order at 5.

Bowlers for KKR vs MI Dream 11 team

The KKR bowling unit has been listless this year, with their main spinner not even making it to the XI. They have failed as a bowling unit and that has to be the biggest reason for this terrible, terrible season for the franchise.

Thus, I would not be brining in any KKR bowler for this game. Lasith Malinga and Jasprit Bumrah would be my first two picks for this game, largely because of their death bowling skills. Both Malinga and Bumrah bowl at least 2 overs at the death each and can run away with bucket loads of cheap wickets. Ge them in for sure.

For the final bowling pick on that rather flat deck in Kolkata, I would get in Rahul Chahar, who has taken to that MI spinner role very admirably. Replacing Markande in the 11, Chahar has ensured that MI keep getting wickets in the middle phase and also that the batsman don’t take apart their bowling unit right before the death overs. Against a batting unit that has 5 right handers in their top 7, Chahar could be of massive use.

All-Rounders for KKR vs MI Dream 11 team

We probably have the three best all-rounders for the IPL on display for this game. Hardik Pandya and Andre Russell have single handedly carried their respective teams on multiple occasions. That Russell’s efforts came in more of a lone battle is reflective of KKR’s place in the IPL points table.

Nevertheless, both these stalwarts have done the impossible with the bat at the death and have chipped in with some crucial wickets and catches with the ball. On current form, they are the two best all-rounders in the world; get them in for sure.

Sunil Narine would be my 3rd all-rounder pick for this game, not going by current form, but by his role in the team. From a KKR perspective, Narine has been given a lot of opportunities to go out there and make a significant impact. He hasn’t quite done it this year, but he has been given the opportunity to. Now, while he has been shifted down the order to number 5, he bowls his full quota of 4 overs, with at least one at the death.

Batsmen for KKR vs MI Dream 11 team

Rohit Sharma’s love affair with the Eden Gardens is well documented and thus with the Indian opener returning there for Sunday night’s fixture, it would be foolish to leave him out, one because of the track, two because of the KKR Bowling unit and three because of Rohit’s history at the Eden Gardens.

Nitish Rana has been the most prolific run-scorer for Rana in the top order, often setting the platform up for Russell to come in and explode. Also, with MI spinners turning the ball into him, he should be able to score freely in the middle overs.

Shubman Gill was promoted up the order in the last game and might be continued there itself. For the kind of talent he possesses and his batting position, you cannot leave Gill out.

Evin Lewis would be my final batting pick for this game. For the final pick, I had to go in with a batsman worth 8.5 cr and it was straight toss up between Lewis and Pollard. I went in with Lewis because of his batting position, as Pollard is sometimes pushed down to number 7 and gets to face just single digit balls.
