NBA legend Kobe Bryant told the reporters a few days back that he did not believe in discussing the GOAT debate as it wasn’t a competition anyone could win conclusively and any competition that he could not win conclusively, was not one he was interested in. That is as Kobe as it gets. Give him a competition that can be won irrefutably and he will pour everything into winning it. Talk about who is the greatest NBA player of all time? That will never have a unanimous answer and there is no point players debating it themselves.

However Tuesday night, Kobe was presented with a new challenge. He was given two options.

1) Eat a cow’s tongue, or

2) Rank who is better among: Michael Jordan, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant.

At first Kobe seemed to want to avoid answering the question and picked up the tongue off the plate in front of him. But he smelled the tongue and decided answering the question was a better option.

But did you really think he was going to rank Michael Jordan ahead of himself? This is Kobe Bryant we are talking about. Mamba Mentality. Ring a bell?

True to taste, Kobe answered with: Me, Michael Jordan, LeBron James. The crowd erupted in cheers. What did you expect? The show is shot in Los Angeles. There was only one answer that everyone was looking for and Kobe gave it to them.

Some fans have mocked Kobe for his answer just a few days after saying he doesn’t believe in the GOAT debate. But this isnt the same.

Kobe Bryant doesn’t want to play the GOAT game with the media because no answer of his will change the minds of Jordan or LeBron stans. But ask him who he believes is better and you bet your life Kobe Bryant thinks he is better than Jordan and LeBron. Honestly if he had said something else, it would have been a bigger surprise
