Not only is Virat Kohli the numero uno on the pitch, Kohli is also the main attraction in the corporate world. His endorsement deals include mind-boggling numbers, as the Indian skipper has become the biggest most sought after athlete in India.

With a huge legion of fans, Kohli has started taking responsibility for his actions, while also taking into account the products that he endorses. He realizes that he can influence a lot of people, which is why he does not want to give the wrong impression to his fans.

A fitness freak, Kohli has undergone a major body transformation over the years as he aims to become one of the fittest athletes in the world. A strong believer in diet, Kohli has abstained from butter, cheese and of course aerated drinks.

That is why Kohli took a major decision when he turned down a 20 crore endorsement deal from Pepsi. He refused to agree to a contract renewal, as he does not believe in endorsing products that he does not believe in himself.

“When I started my fitness turnaround, it was more of a lifestyle thing initially. If something goes away from that, I would not want to be a part of that or be promoting that,” Kohli had told CNN-IBN.

“If I myself won’t consume such things, I won’t urge others to consume it just because I’m getting money out of it.”

Kohli started this fitness revolution post the 2012 IPL season. After having a poor time with the bat, Kohli realized that he had to change his life style habits and wanted to bring about a transformation in his body.

Since then, Kohli has gone from strength to strength as the Delhi batsman has now become arguably the best batsman in world cricket, completing an amazing turn around for himself.
