Konyaspor Goalkeeper Serkan Kirintili receives fastest ever red card in Turkish football history after just 13 seconds vs Yeni Malatyaspor.
It is very rare for a goalkeeper to concede a foul in a football match. Goal keepers receiving a yellow card is almost unheard of. Yet Konyaspor goalkeeper Serkan Kirintili manged to get himself a red card in record time.

Konyaspor started the night at 3rd place in the Turkish league with only two points keeping them away from the top spot. However, their match against Yeni Malatyaspor got off in the worst possible fashion for the home side.

The game had just barely started with the players passing the ball around. However, Kirintili, who has three international caps with Turkey, ran out of the 18-yard box and inexplicably caught the ball with his hands.
The Glovesman immediately realized the magnitude of his error and began taking off his gloves. Seconds later, his fears were confirmed as the referee flashed the red card in response to the bizarre scenes that had just taken place.

The keeper tried to hide his face under his shirt. However, the deed was done and there was nothing he could do about it. 13 seconds was all it took for his night to come to an unexpected end at the Torku Arena.

Konyaspor would go on to lose the match 2-0. Goals from Guilherme Costa Marques and Robin Yalcin on either side of the halfs handed them their second loss of the season. Kirintili seemed rather apologetic after the match as he put his hands on the club badge while his teammates thanked the fans for their support.
