France are one of the dominant sides in the tournament but have not won any of the previous editions of this tournament. However, the French side would be looking forward to replicate the historic feat by the men’s team, who won the World Cup at home in 1998.

On the other hand, South Korea are the underdogs of this tournament, as they have never qualified beyond the group stages in the past three editions of the World Cup.

France are ranked 4th in the FIFA rankings while Korea are ranked 14th. France are also the host country for this World Cup. Thus, expecting a win for the home side. However, the Koreans cannot be underestimated.
