KXIP vs CSK Dream 11 Prediction: Best Dream11 team for today’s KXIP vs CSK match | IPL news as TSR helps you form the best Dream 11 team
We are into the final day of the league phase and there are a couple of things that need to get sorted. The top 2 hasn’t been confirmed as of now and the 4th playoff spot too is up for grabs.
However, this game has two teams that aren’t quite involved in that top 2 race or in that surge towards that final top 4 spot. CSK have all but secured a top 2 finish, thanks to their superior run rate and only a mauling at the hands of KXIP could push them out of that top 2.
For KXIP their top 4 surge was brought to a cruel halt in the last game by an inspired Shubman Gill, who take KKR home, ensuring that they lived to fight another day in the IPL.

Thus, this is largely a dead rubber, but not so much for the Dream11 Fantasy managers, as it provides another chance to enjoy the world of Fantasy cricket and of course, get some money in the pocket.
KXIP could do DC and MI a favour by battering CSK at home on Sunday, something that the Kings XI fans would absolutely love.
Let’s get to business now.
KXIP vs CSK Dream 11 Prediction
Wicketkeeper for KXIP vs CSK Dream 11
MS Dhoni and Nicholas Pooran go head to head for the Dream11 wicketkeeping slot for the KXIP vs CSK game. Nicholas Pooran gets the nod for me, as he has been batting at number 4 in the past few games and has been in great form as well. With MS Dhoni also being in great form all through the IPL, the only thing that tilts me towards Pooran is his batting position.
With Rayudu slotting in at 4, Dhoni could be pushed to number 5 or even number 6, as he might want Kedar Jadhav to spend some time in the middle.
Bowlers for KXIP vs CSK Dream 11
With the long square boundaries in Mohali, Imran Tahir could be extremely lethal, as his leg spin trickery has already caused so much trouble to batsmen all through the IPL. On current form and according to the ground dimensions, you just can’t leave Tahir out.
Mohammad Shami finds himself in the top 5 wicket takers of this season and that has largely been due to his highly improved death overs bowling. With the new ball too, Shami has chipped in with some important wickets. Going by current form once again, it wouldn’t be too wise to leave him out.
For the final bowling pick I would be getting in the ever dependable Deepak Chahar, who has bowled admirably for CSK at the top of the order and could be very crucial in countering the duo of Chris Gayle and KL Rahul. If you are looking for a dependable 8.5 cr worth bowler, Chahar should be your go-to man.
All-Rounders for KXIP vs CSK Dream 11
Dwayne Bravo has been a little hot and cold this season, with this season hampered a bit early on by the hamstring injury that he suffered midway. However, he has settled into that death overs role once again, picking up a few cheap wickets and immensely helping Dream11 Fantasy managers all around. Those long square boundaries would come in handy with those Bravo slower ones.
Sam Curran absolutely blew away the KKR death bowling unit in the last game and then did decently well with the bowl as well. The England all-rounder has been KXIPs trump card this season, performing with the ball when needed and then using his explosive batting skills whenever put under the pump with the bat.
For the final all-rounder pick, I would get in Ravi Ashwin, who has been KXIP’s best bowler this season(along with Shami). He has controlled the pace of the innings during the middle overs and has also picked up crucial wickets. While earlier, for Ashwin, it was all about controlling the runs, this season, his prime objective has been to help his team get wickets during the middle phase and get a stronghold over the game. Again, those long square boundaries could play into Ashwin’s hands and he could be an important cog in your KXIP vs CSK Dream11 team.
Batsmen for KXIP vs CSK Dream 11
Chris Gayle and KL Rahul have made significant contributions at the top of the order for KXIP, getting the team off to good starts and also at times taking responsibility to bat all through the innings. On a ground that they both love and have played all through this season, I would get them in for sure. The CSK bowling unit has one major threat and that is Tahir. For Gayle the bowl coming into him could plat into his hands and KL Rahul is a good enough player of leg spin, hence shouldn’t be too perturbed by the trickery of the South African.
Ambati Rayudu gets the nod from the CSK batting unit, as I wanted to get in a 8.5 cr worth CSK batsman. The toss up was between him and Jadhav and I decided to go in with Rayudu because of his higher batting position.
For the final batting pick, it was a toss up between Watson and Mayank Agarwal and I have decided to go in with Watson, as I don’t want to put all my eggs in that KXIP batting basket. Thus, I hedge my bets a little and get Watson in, despite Mayank being a better pick at the moment. If you want to get all of the KXIP batsman in and not have a problem with it, you can get in Mayank too.
Captain: KL Rahul
Vice-Captain: Sam Curran(if KXIP bat first)/ Imran Tahir(if CSK Bat first)
