ENG vs SA Dream 11 Prediction: Best Dream11 team for today’s England vs South Africa Match 1 | TSR helps you with Dream 11 for CWC 2019.

The much-awaited ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is all set to get underway at the Kennington Oval in London on Friday when South Africa take on hosts, England in what if bound to be an exciting contest between two of the strongest teams in the competition. Both teams will look to draw first blood and gain an early advantage in the tournament.

Let us get down to business now!

ENG vs SA Dream 11 Prediction

Bowlers for ENG vs SA Dream 11

Kagiso Rabada is one of the best bowlers in the world currently. He can make the ball talk and under overcast conditions in London tomorrow, he can swing the ball viciously. Rabada is an able death overs bowler as well and is a favourite to end up among the highest wicket-takers of the tournament. Get him in at 9.5 credits!

Liam Plunkett has been having a few good years in the English jersey. His USP is that he keeps picking wickets in every match irrespective of bowling in the powerplay, the middle overs or the death. Plunkett at 8 credits can give me many wickets and I surely need him.

Jofra Archer at 8.5 credits will be my last bowler. Archer has impressed everyone with his pace, swing, accuracy and variations. He can do it all and England would do well to include him in the playing XI. Especially at the death, he can pick up many wickets with the batsmen trying to go after everything.

Archer, if playing, has to be in my team. In case he doesn’t, I will bring in Lungi Ngidi into my team. Ngidi has the ability to regularly pick up wickets as well and in the absence of Steyn, he is expected to play an important role.

All-rounders for ENG vs SA Dream 11

The batting firepower in both the teams playing this match makes me go for just one all-rounder in Andile Phehlukwayo. He has been looking good in recent times and is expected to play a key role in the team. He can bowl his full quota of overs on his day and pick up quite a few wickets.

Phehlukwayo got rid of 4 batsmen in their warm-up match and scored a sensible 35 run knock in the lower middle order. This man needs to be in your team especially since he costs just 8 credits.

Wicket-keepers for ENG vs SA Dream 11

As many as three swashbuckling wicket-keepers are up for grabs and I do grab all of them. Jonny Bairstow has been
prolific with the bat and has been timing the ball superbly for a couple of months now.

He was fantastic in the IPL and then in the international series against Pakistan as well. Bairstow cannot be left out under any circumstances. In fact, he will also be my captain in this match.

Quinton de Kock has not put a foot wrong in the last few years. He has almost always been in top form at the top of the order. de Kock has handled the South African ship on many occasions playing some huge innings. He also got a start in the second warm-up scoring 37* before rain played spoilsport. Bring him in and make him your vice captain!

My third wicket-keeper will be Jos Buttler without a doubt. Buttler has been in enviable touch and has been seeing the cricket ball like a football. He scored some big knocks in the IPL and followed that up with some amazing batting against Pakistan.

The 28-year old cricketer can score some quick runs if needed as well like he made 52 off just 31 balls in the first warm-up. With Morgan down with a niggle, Buttler can bat higher up the order as well. Take the plunge and invest 10 credits in him!

Batsmen for ENG vs SA Dream 11

Faf du Plessis walks into my team for this match. He is one of the best batsmen in the world and has always been  extremely dependable. Faf can be the pivot around with South African batting revolves. Expect him to get a big one here.

Joe Root is also one of the modern-day greats and is an extremely reliable batsman. He will also play the role of an anchor and get to a big score himself hopefully. I get him in since a player of his calibre is tough to ignore. It was a toss-up between Hashim Amla and Root and I picked the latter since I feel he will contribute more. You can also go for Amla who is a great batsman.

Jason Roy has been in stupendous batting form of late. He scored some big centuries in the Pakistan series and has not looked back. He even scored a flamboyant 89 off 46 in the second warm-up game and looks all set to take the World Cup by storm.

Now, I have 8 credits left and 1 spot to fill. It was a toss-up between Moeen Ali and Aiden Markram for me. Considering how good Markram has looked lately, I go with him as he can get me a lot of points in the middle-order. Expect the young man to come out and play some good cricket. If he doesn’t feature in the playing XI, get in Moeen Ali who can also contribute with the ball.
