Kylian Mbappe Lists Set Of Demands To Sign New PSG Deal Along With Inclusion Of A Release Clause

The starlet has listed a multitude of demands to sign an extension

Over the last slew of seasons, PSG have been working extremely hard to get Kylian Mbappe to put ink to paper to a new deal at the club. And the French wonderkid’s hattrick against Barcelona in the side’s Champions League triumph has only further strengthen the Ligue 1 side’s resolve to nail down on Mbappe’s future.

However, the club is yet to make an serious inroads with Mbappe. Although the 22 year old player is said to be willing to seal his future at the club, the striker has listed manifold demands to sign an extension beyond his current 2022 deal.

All Demands Made By Mbappe

As per Foot Mercato, Mbappe is adamant on a release clause being embedded in his new contract, one which would allow him to depart the land of the club if any potential suitors come for him. He’s also said to be asking for atleast 520,000 pounds per week with the player refusing to earn anything less than Neymar currently takes home.

Fabrizio Romano has reaffirmed the reports with him writing about the demands made by Mbappe and also ascertaining that Neymar is on the cusp of signing a new contract.

“Kylian Mbappe, who put together an extraordinary hat trick performance at the Camp Nou last week, has been negotiating with Paris Saint-Germain for a new contract for months. The negotiations are now ongoing with the 22-year-old wunderkind, but there is still no definitive agreement,” Fabrizio Romano wrote on the player’s future.

“PSG are optimistic because the owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi is stepping in to ensure that Mbappe is satisfied with the new deal. The request reaches €25 million (roughly $30.3 million) per year as salary along with commissions in consideration.

“Kylian’s contract expires in June 2022, so it’s a priority for PSG to complete the deal sooner than later. Neymar, on the other hand, will soon renew his agreement for four years — in this case, there was never a doubt.
