“Lakers have a lot of doubt in their locker room”: Anthony Davis laughs at the notion of LeBron James and co lacking chemistry during play in game

Anthony Davis takes to Instagram to scoff at Steve Kerr saying that the Lakers have a lot of doubt in the locker room, against the Warriors.

Going into the play in game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors, there was an immense amount of speculation over how badly the Lakers would beat down on the Warriors. With the Dubs missing guys like Kelly Oubre Jr, James Wiseman, and Damion Lee, the fully healthy Lakers were expected to blow them out.

However, Steph Curry put his team on his back and gave them a 13-point lead heading into the second half. Not to mention that Draymond Green was absolutely living up to his DPOY candidacy by switching onto virtually every single player in purple and gold.

Steve Kerr seems to have gotten a bit ahead of himself when trying to fire up his Warriors during a timeout and Anthony Davis took to Instagram to respond to Kerr’s ‘pep talk’.

Anthony Davis laughs at Steve Kerr implying locker room troubles within the Lakers squad.

The Warriors boss bench must’ve felt good about their exemplary defense in the 1st quarter as he told Steph Curry and the others in before the 2nd quarter, “They got a lot of doubt down there, we’ve got a lot of belief.”

Anthony Davis was clearly not feeling this from Kerr as he took to Instagram a couple hours later to comment a few laughing face emojis underneath the post. It doesn’t say much but it says enough and implies the Lakers were perfectly fine even while being down to the Dubs by double digits.

It all worked out in the end for the reigning champs as LeBron James buried a 30-foot bomb on the scoring champ to ice the game and send the LakeShow to the Playoffs. They will now face off against James’s ol’ buddy, Chris Paul and look to defend their title while going through a torrid Western Conference.
