The 4-time MVP, who’s bidding to make the 10th NBA Finals series of his career, moved to 158 playoff wins today. He was the best player in a Lakers uniform as they rode to a 116-108 win on the back of a robust second half performance.
The Lakers came out of the gate a bit slower than usual. They took their time to get into the game, trailing the Trail Blazers in both the first and second quarters. It took a 3rd quarter outburst from Anthony Davis to get them going and give them their first meaningful lead. They did not relinquish the lead after gaining it early in the 3rd quarter.

Anthony Davis began demanding the ball in better post positions and started capitalizing on his opportunities. Danny Green and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope offered better defense against the dribble penetration of McCollum and Lillard. Alex Caruso was a legitimate offensive option in the 4th quarter.
Overall, most of LeBron’s assists came in the 4th quarter – with 3 lobs highlighting the display. Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard gleefully devoured the tastefully served assists to him on a platter.
