However, a YouTuber by the name of MagicalMessi has put together a compilation video of the Argentine magician showing him employ game changing tactics even without the ball. Feints, dummies, fake shots, you name it and Messi uses every bit of skill in his arsenal to give his side an advantage every opportunity he gets.

The video has racked up more than 2.5 million views and watching the video will tell you why. The compilation video includes instances such as the time appeared to fake an injury to throw the opposition off-guard before sneaking in at the far post and tapping home. It also shows the numerous times, he has stood between the last defender and goalkeeper before letting the ball run through and getting his just rewards.

Lionel Messi recently won the European Golden shoe and the FIFA Best player of the season award. He will also be looking to add to his 5 Balon D’Ors. Despite missing a good bit of matches in the first few months of the season, he has come back with raging form and just recently banged in  a brace against Borussia Dortmund during their Champions league match.
