Liverpool news: Loris Karius believes he can play for Liverpool once again

Liverpool News: Loris Karius believes he can play for Liverpool once again, even though he has been replaced by Alisson Becker long ago.

Liverpool has revamped its squad since transfer summer of 2018. There were some exclusions from the squad, which were necessary, an needed immediate fortification.

Loris Karius was one of them, as his disastrous last season with Liverpool, ended his time at the Merseyside club. The final nail of his career in England was when he had a disastrous performance against Real Madrid in the Champions League final of 2018.

Later, Karius was replaced by Alisson Becker from Roma, after Klopp made his squad overhaul. However, even after a tragic end to his career at Liverpool. The German goalkeeper still believes that he can revive his career at Liverpool.

“Will I play for Liverpool again? Of course, it’s an option and a good option to still be there,” he said, per the Daily Mail. “Maybe I’ll play for them again, you never know. It’s still far ahead.”

“If it’s not Liverpool, it will be another decent team, so I’m not worried about any scenario. The Premier League is the best league so it is interesting of course.”

“If you play in England you’re always a bit more in the spotlight, but I’m at a good club now so we will see what happens at the end of the season,” he concluded.

Although, Karius does not sound delusional over here but is optimistic about his future. However at the same time, one has to realize that he cannot head back to Liverpool in any near future, as the Reds are at the epitome of the European footballer and Alisson is kind of untouchable at his position.

Presently, Karius is still under the contract with Liverpool but serving his two-year loan spell at Besiktas. It does not seem that Klopp will extend his contract once he returns from Turkey next summer.
