Liverpool Transfer News: Jurgen Klopp has eyes on Norwich City Duo as potential targets for the Reds at the end of the 2019/20 campaign.
Liverpool refrained from entering the transfer market last season. However, they became the first team to purchase a player in the January transfer window when they brought RB Salzburg’s Takumi Minamino. It now appears that the Reds now have their sights set on the summer transfer window.
The Athletic have reported that Liverpool are currently keeping tabs on Norwich duo Emiliano Buendia and Jamal Lewis ahead of possible moves during this summer’s transfer window. Both of these players have been impressive for the newly promoted side. Beundia has even registered the third highest assists this season (7); Only behind Kevin De Bruyne and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Liverpool target Back up options
Beundia is being considered as a possible back-up to Andrew Robertson at left back. Liverpool only have James Milner as a backup to Robertson. Milner has been very open at his displeasure at playing in that position.
Jamal Lewis has made for 14 appearances for Norwich this season. He has impressed Jurgen Klopp with his creativity in the final third. The Reds view him as a player that will strengthen their squad. With Norwich likely to be relegated at the end of the season, Liverpool should find it easier to convince the players and the club to part ways.
Liverpool will take on Sheffield United on Thursday night with an aim to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table as they chase their first Premier League title.
