Luke Shaw mocks Romelu Lukaku over Inter Milan’s exit from the Champions League and entry into the Europa League with Manchester United.

Inter Milan had to face heartbreak as they were knocked out of the Champions League after losing their last Champions League group stage game against Barcelona at the San Siro.

Even though the Nerazurris is having a phenomenal season domestically but they failed to conquer their chances at the Champions League this season.

Amidst the tragic scene at Inter Milan, Luke Shaw did not wait to mock his former teammate Romelu Lukaku, who left Manchester United for the Italians during the last transfer window.

Lukaku had a good performance against the Catalan giants and also scored the crucial equalizer with a sublime volley, but his efforts were neutralized by Barcelona’s 17-year-old sensation Ansu Fati who scored the late minute winner to win the game for his side.

The English defender digs an old picture of Lukaku on twitter over where he has captioned the picture as “UCL”. Months later, after Inter Milan’s exit, Shaw gives a response by writing “Welcome back”.

Shaw’s message directly explains that he is making a sly dig at Lukaku over Inter Milan’s entry into the Europa League after ending 3rd in their table behind Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund respectively.

Manchester United is already trading its chances in the Europa League and with Inter Milan entering into the competition, the Belgian International can possibly have a reunion with his previous club.

Lukaku certainly left the Old Trafford with a sour end, and the fans would be still annoyed by the conduct of the 26-year-old this summer to force out his way from the club.
