Man City 2-2 Tottenham: 5 talking points after Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspurs draw

#3 Manchester City’s curse against Tottenham- VAR

Man City 2-2 Tottenham

Etihad Stadium was on a cloud nine when Gabriel Jesus scored the winner against Tottenham in the injury time of the game. However, the Citizen’s happiness was short-lived as the VAR ruled out his goal due to a handball made by Aymeric Laporte.

Even Tottenham had lost hope when Jesus pulled the last-minute goal, but destiny met Manchester City once again, and once again the VAR spoiled Pep Guardiola’s party in front of Tottenham.

This is not for the first time that Manchester City had to face this against Tottenham. In the Champions League quarter-final, Manchester City had to take an exit, after VAR ruled out that goal too. Is it a new curse for Manchester City now?
