Man Utd 1st goal vs Southampton: Daniel James scores a beauty to open the scoring for Manchester United in their Premier League match against the Saints.
Daniel James is turning out to be a sensation for Manchester United. The 21-year old was bought for 15m from Swansea earlier in the summer. Some questioned United for signing a championship player but James has proven to be a bargain buy for the Red Devils.
He came like a storm and left Chelsea in tatters during his debut when he came off the bench to score his first goal. He then scored once again in the match against Crystal Palace although United lost that match after conceding an extra time goal.
Manchester United have travelled to St. Mary’s stadium where they are currently taking on Southampton in the Premier League. United will want to put their loss behind them and start anew today and they have started the match brilliantly with James leading the charge once again.

Daniel James ran to the box with the ball in his feet. He then cut it with his left before driving the ball with his right foot behind the keeper. The ball soared to the top corner giving Manchester United the lead in just 10 minutes.

Daniel James now has 3 goals in 4 appearances for Manchester United. Solskjaer probably feels vindicated in his decision to invest in an unknown commodity. However, the job is far from done. United are dominating the match in all aspects and will have to ensure that they do not their guard or intensity down.
