Man Utd News: Jose Mourinho slams Manchester United for negligence over his transfer demands at one position

Man Utd News: Jose Mourinho slams Manchester United for ignoring his transfer demand of buying a centre-back during last summer.

Jose Mourinho had an unfortunate end to his time with Manchester United, after the Portuguese manager was sacked by the Red Devils over his poor record in all formats with Manchester United during last season.

Soon, he was replaced by ex-Manchester United player, Ole Solskjaer, who brought positive influence to the team became the interim manager and was soon promoted as the permanent manager.

Despite it, Manchester United finished sixth in the league, many blame the leaky Manchester United defence last season for the underwhelming season and to improve this situation. Manchester United signed Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka to bolster the defence.

Therefore, according to Samuel Luckhurst from MEN reports that Mourinho has slammed Manchester United for this alleged unfair treatment to him, as he said that he demanded a central defender when he was at the charge.

“I was not an idiot when in the last pre-season I was crying for a central defender.” said Mourinho.

The Portuguese manager was subject to massive criticism by fans, when the Red Devils were struggling to be in the title contention and eventually out of the top-4.

With the pressure by fans, Manchester United had to terminate Mourinho’s contract in the end in the winter, when the team was in absolute ruins.

Indeed Manchester United were short of resources which were required to triumph the Premier League. However, Mourinho was being caught by almost all the managers and he surely had worst of his performances with the English giants only.

Now, Mourinho has taken a rest from managing, and presently is a football pundit. Whereas, Solskjaer is vying with the English clubs for the Premier League victory.
