Man Utd Transfer News: Inter Milan ready to include Mauro Icardi in Romelu Lukaku swap deal with Manchester United this summer.
Inter Milan’s new boss is interested in hiring the services of Manchester United star striker Romelu Lukaku this season, as the Italian manager is set to transform his squad this summer and looks at the Belgian star as a viable option.
Although, Manchester United are not willing to send Lukaku away with the offer proposed by Inter Milan, as they invested heavily in the 26-year-old player.
Thus, according to a report by the Express, Antonio Conte is willing to include Mauro Icardi in the deal to hire the services of the Belgian International from Manchester United.
Although, Icardi is a world class player but it is being reported that Manchester United are not keen in hiring the services of the Argentine International.
ESPN reporter Paolo Bandini says finding a club for Icardi will be difficult due to the controversy surrounding the Argentine in the last year.
Additionally, it is also reported that Manchester United do not see Icardi as the right replacement currently.
“[Where Icardi ends up] is the fascinating question here, Is he a better player than Lukaku? In my opinion yes.” Bandini told ESPN FC.
“I think Mauro Icardi is absolutely a world-class striker when he’s on, when he’s giving you everything he can. Likewise though, finding a club for him is not going to be straightforward.
“Manchester United frankly, if Inter thought they could get a swap deal out of this, if they could send Icardi to Manchester and get Lukaku coming back in the other direction, they’d be happy.
“But from what I’ve heard so far United aren’t that keen on it. Is everyone at Juventus sold on the idea of Icardi coming in there?”
Thus, it is upon Manchester United whether they will consider the proposal or would reject it to keep the Belgian International at the Old Trafford.
