Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha has been linked with a shocking return to Manchester United, four years after his departure from the club.

Manchester United returned to winning ways in the Premier League after a 2-1 victory over Watford.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial were on the scoresheet for the host side as they climbed to the fourth place in the Premier League.

However, the side’s performance was far from convincing as the visitors threatened the Manchester United defence on occasions and came close to equalizing in the injury time, when they were awarded a free-kick.

While Solskjaer announced in the press conference ahead of the game that the Manchester United fans could expect a few incoming transfers in the summer, it has been reported that the club could see a player return after four years.

Wilfried Zaha to Man Utd?

Wilfried Zaha joined Manchester United in 2013 in the summer transfer window.

However, he remained largely on the bench under David Moyes and was eventually loaned out to Cardiff City in January 2014. At the end of the season, Wilfried Zaha criticised the Scotsman for the lack of chances, after Moyes was sacked as Manchester United manager.

However, under Louis van Gaal, Zaha was sent out for a season-long loan again – this time, to his former club, Crystal Palace.

He signed a permanent contract with Palace in the winter transfer window the next year.

Zaha has been a key part of Crystal Palace ever since his return to the side, scoring crucial goals for the side.

It is claimed by The Sun that Manchester United are interested in signing Wilfried Zaha back. The outlet also claims that the side would be due a 25% cut in the signing fees for the player.

However, Manchester Evening News has claimed that there was no such buy-back clause included in the deal with Crystal Palace.

Sun claims that Wilfried Zaha is valued at 70 million pounds.
