Dele Alli is part of an important project at Tottenham, one that has Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and himself at the centre of it.

Dele Alli is probably the most promising attacking midfielder in England and at just 22, he could be one of the biggest England stars ever, i.e. if he behaves himself on the pitch and channels his energies in the right direction.

Dele is currently training with the English national team before the FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The Tottenham star spoke to the ES Magazine where in he was quizzed about his future and he refused to rule a move out of Tottenham.

The rumour mill thus suggests that Alli could have United on his mind as he might be frustrated by the lack of trophies at Tottenham.

“I’d never say never to anything,” he said.

“But you can’t look into the future too much as it takes the pleasure out of now. I’ve still got a few years on my contract.” he added.

Dele however is positive about things at Spurs and believes the team has the right ingredients to win titles next season.

“Yeah. Well, all the players can see the way the club’s heading.

“We’ve got a young team, a young manager, a new stadium, so it’s a great place to be at the minute. But you never know what’s going to happen in football.” he said.

Dele Alli has been linked with United in the past and if he is available, Mourinho could be ready to jump on the offer of getting one of England’s most promising young stars to Old Trafford.
