Manchester United team news vs West Ham

TheSportsRush provides Manchester United team news vs West Ham, as Mourinho provides key information on Paul Pogba.

The relationship between Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho has dominated the headlines over the past week. The duo was caught arguing in a training session earlier this week, and various media outlets speculated Pogba to leave Manchester United, as early as in January.

However, Jose Mourinho stated in the press conference that he and Pogba are on good terms and that he is happy with Pogba’s effort in the training.

“It’s a good relationship between player and manager,” Mourinho said.

“You [journalists] made an incredible story out of 15 minutes of an open training session. What happened the other day happens on many days. Conversations with players, I have many, many, many, many times. Loud instructions happen every day – coaching is about that.

“But you make stories out of it so I am happy that the rules are only 15 minutes once a month and with situations like that it is not going to change. There is no chance I am going to open the training session and let you watch a training session.

“Manchester United is bigger than anyone and I have to defend that,” Mourinho stated.

Jose Mourinho also provided team news for the match against West Ham United this weekend.

“Only Marcos Rojo is still out. And obviously Romero now with a one-match suspension. Apart from that, in a 26-player squad, everybody is available,” said Mourinho.

He also told the reporters that Paul Pogba will start the match.

“Nobody trained better than Paul on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday – nobody trained better than him. The team needs good players; he is a good player. The team needs players with personality to play – he has and he plays tomorrow.”
