Manchester United Transfer News: Red Devils demand £6 million for ‘out of favour’ defender Marcos Rojo ahead of transfer window.
Manchester United have already spoken about their intentions of going through a massive squad overhaul this summer. The Red Devils had a very underwhelming season as they ended with the sixth spot finish in the league.
Thus, Ole Solskjaer wants to make transformations in the squad ahead of next season. It is expected that Manchester United will focus on bringing new additions in the defense.
However, to bring new additions, the club have to offload certain liabilities in defense. One such player, which the Red Devils are ready to offload is Marcos Rojo.
According to a report by the Daily Mirror, Manchester United have allegedly given a price tag of £6 million for the services of the Argentine International.
Rojo has been constantly been unavailable due to his injuries throughout the season. Moreover, his disappointing exhibits also compelled Solskjaer to place him lower in the pecking order.
Although, Manchester United will face massive challenges to find suitors for the 29-year-old defender as he has two years left in his contract, and considering his current wages, no club will be ready to sign the player.
In other options, Manchester United can offload Eric Bailly, and he is remained with last year of his contract. Thus, Manchester United can attempt to offload him this season, considering he is also out of favour with Solskjaer.
Nevertheless, Manchester United have concerns in squad beyond Rojo, the Red Devils need to find appropriate solutions in time, in order to challenge for the league next season.
