Man United News: Barcelona are planning to make Manchester United’s top target Lionel Messi’s successor and are willing to splurge €120m for his signatures.
Lionel Messi broke into Barcelona’s senior side at the age of 17. By 2005 he became a regular fixture in their playing XI and the rest is history. He has since become the highest scorer in La Liga and is now Barcelona’s most prized possession.

However, as is with life, everything must come to an end and Messi will one day call time on his illustrious career. Barcelona have begun planning for life beyond the Argentine. Ousmane Dembele and Antoine Griezmann were seen as likely prospects for the post.
However, the French duo have failed to live up to their expectations so far. As a result, the Blaugrana have had to resume their search and it seems that this time they may have hit the nail on the head with their next target.
The crown prince of Barcelona
Spanish outlet Don Balon have reported that Barcelona have identified Jadon Sancho as Lionel Messi’s potential successor. Bringing the young Borussia Dortmund winger to the Camp Nou won’t be easy though.
Sancho has attracted the attention of former club Manchester City and their local rivals Manchester United, both of whom would do well with him in their side. Barcelona will also face challenge from rivals, Real Madrid, who are also looking to bolster their attack.
To top it all off, Sancho will cost them quite the moolah with Dortmund reportedly looking for at least €120m or even more! However, Sancho has made it known that he will remain at the Signal Iduna Park at least until the next summer, which means that Barcelona will have to be patient in his pursuit.
