Manchester United Transfer News: Romelu Lukaku urges United to sort out his transfer before the pre-season tour of Australasia next month.
According to Manchester Evening News, Romelu Lukaku has asked Manchester United to resolve his future amidst interests from Inter Milan. The Belgian striker is reportedly keen on leaving for the Italian Club this summer as he doesn’t feel important under United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Italian Club are willing to buy the striker and United are open to the move as long as Inter Milan meet their £80 million evaluation of the Belgian. However, Internazionale are yet to submit a bid.
Conte-Lukaku connection
New Inter Boss Antonio Conte is a huge fan of Lukaku. He wanted to buy the burly striker back in 2017 when he was in charge of Chelsea. However, Manchester United picked him up instead. Conte had to settle for Alvaro Morata instead. But the Italian now has another opportunity to nab the Belgian. This time though, it looks like he will finally succeed in getting his signatures.
Lukaku has reciprocated the sentiments of the Italian by calling him the best coach in the world. He has however maintained his silence out of respect for United Fans.
“It is good that Conte went to Inter, for me he is the best coach in the world. As for my future, I have already made a decision that I still cannot communicate publicly out of respect for Manchester United, with whom I have a contract.”
Lukaku has handed a two-week deadline to United to finalise the move in hopes that the situation will clear up before Manchester United’s pre-season tour of Australasia. United players will return to pre-season training on July 1 before the tour squad flies to Perth on the 7th.
