Everton’s Richarlison And Liverpool Supporter Squabble On Twitter: The furore against Richarlison has been ever brewing since his torrid challenge on Thiago
While the rivalry between Liverpool and Everton needs little fuel to its simmering fire, the embers added to it when these two sides last took on each other have seen the supporters of the two clubs take jibes at each other ever since. And matters grew worse after Jurgen Klopp confirmed that Thiago’s absence from the game would be prolonged owing to his injury.

Richarlison’s Malicious Challenge On Thiago
The injury had occurred during the 1-1 draw between Liverpool and Everton earlier in the season when Richarlison had recklessly lunged out at Thiago’s knee. Despite the ball being well out of his reach, Richarlison in a clear act of malice had let his outstretched leg thud into Thiago’s knee.
An excruciating challenge, Thiago has failed to recover from the knock ever since with Jurgen Klopp confirmed the damage done to the knee was severe.
“Thiago we have to maybe clarify it a little bit,” Klopp said speaking on the player’s injury.
“On that day when Thiago got injured in that challenge in the Everton game, there was another bad injury [to Virgil van Dijk] and after the scans it was like one was really bad news and the other one was really good news because nothing was broken, nothing was ruptured and stuff like this.
“But, as we realise now, it was still a massive impact on the knee. The problem is in a situation like that, nothing is ruptured and nothing is broken and that means everybody thinks, ‘OK, you can go after a few days’, but the impact on the leg was that big that it is still not OK.
“It is not massive and he trains from time to time, not in the moment because we just have to realise that we have to go a few further steps. I can’t say exactly when he will be fine, but it will take a few weeks still with Thiago.”
Richarlison And Liverpool Supporter Spar On Twitter
Ever since the latest update was provided by Klopp, Liverpool supporters took to Twitter to lambast Richarlison for a challenge which has ruled out their new signing.
A Twitter account by the name of steven Klopp commented on Richarlison’s latest Twitter post writing: Never rated you mate bog off back to Watford where you belong
Richarlison whose known for his outlandish behaviour and mannerisms was never going to take such a comment lying down. Replying to it, the Everton man posted a video of him touching the Everton badge in what was a clear jibe at the Liverpool supporter.
steven Klopp refused to be dissuaded though as he hit back with: Fancy replying to me like that mate. Takes some guts.
