The rumours surrounding Marcelo to Juventus have gathered pace as British outlet reports he wants to play alongside Ronaldo at Turin.

Real Madrid star left-back, Marcelo Vierra is desperate to linkup with longtime friend and former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo at Turin, if reports are to be believed.

Daily Mirror today came up with reports that suggest that the Brazilian is finding it hard to cope in the absence of CR7 at the left flank and rightly so. Real have been left with a huge void post Ronaldo leaving for Italy.

A void that Florentino Perez’s club has tried to fill with Mariano Diaz by giving the 25-year old the no.7 armour.

The reports further suggested that Juventus are willing to offer Alex Sandro to Madrid in order to fill the place for his fellow Brazilian at the Santiago Bernabeu.

These reports might be subjected to rumour as many of them have been in the past but they actually make a whole lot of sense.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s summer transfer to Juve was most unexpected and sent shock waves across the sporting fraternity. The Portuguese no.7’s first three weeks in Italy have been typical of his game as he is yet to open his account with his new club. Bringing in Marcelo would pave way to more chances being created on the left for Ronaldo.

Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes had earlier represented Marcelo, adding weight to this talk of both of them linking in Turin in near future. Also Marcelo’s relationship with Real’s new manager, Julen Lopetegui has been described as shady which could act as a platform for him to leave for Italy.

The summer transfer window is closed this season. Real Madrid had a rather quiet window, and made headlines for the departure of their superstar Ronaldo and manager Zinedine Zidane.
