Mario Mandzukic to Man Utd: Juventus Forward closes in on a move to Old Trafford amidst Lukaku and Dybala swap deal speculations.
Manchester United have so far only bought in two recruits this season. However, they have been linked with every player on the market that was or wasn’t available. The transfer season may be nearing its end but the speculation surrounding the incomings at Old Trafford are yet to end

Manchester United are currently rumored to bring in Paulo Dybala from Juventus. They have reportedly agreed on a deal that will see wantaway striker Romelu Lukaku move in the opposite direction. However, reports have surfaced that Dybala may not be the only in his side to trade his black and white stripes for the Manchester Red this summer.
Mandzukic to United
Goal have reported that veteran striker Mario Mandzukic could be shifted out to Man Utd in the coming days. This deal will operate separately from the aforementioned Dybala-Lukaku swap deal. Juventus will look to seek around £13m for the Croatian striker.
If and when Lukaku does arrive at Turin, Mandzukic will fall a peg or two on the club’s totem pole. With Gonzalo Higuain and the Belgian brute ahead of him, it is likely that he will be starved for minutes with the Bianconeri. At United, he will be Marcus Rashford’s deputy and will provide back-up for him.
Mandzukic was targeted by Manchester United last year as well. However, the former Bayern Munich striker turned down the move. He managed 10 goals and seven assists in 33 appearances last summer. This time around, it is likely that he will agree to the deal. With the transfer window closing soon, more clarity on this matter should arrive very soon.
