Football fan generates incredible twitter thread to prove why Lionel Messi is not the most complete player forget about all-time.

Lionel Messi is undoubtedly is an incredible player, a talent which fulfilled its potential to the most and he is often also regarded as the greatest player of all time by a huge section of the football fraternity.

The Argentine International has been consistently performing at the top level since more than a decade and is one of the most followed players in the world. He is often lauded for his expertise in several areas of game- vision, passing, finishing etc, which other players o not hold.

However, a football fan named @AntiLaportisimo on twitter has made a thread to disprove that Messi is a complete player. The first point he makes is that the 32-year-old is poor with his weak foot.

The second point of critique is his heading ability. Although Messi is only five foot seven the Twitter user believes that the diminutive forward’s lack of aerial prowess works against him.

Further, he also mentions Messi’s poor record in penalties, the Argentine star has missed around 24 penalties in his career. Moreover, point number four discusses his lack of long shots from outside the penalty area. However, the point is not true, as Messi has gained expertise in kicking accurate freekicks and moreover, he has around a century of goals from outside the box.

The thread goes on to say that he lacks leadership qualities as well as ‘clutchness’ in the big games as long as failing to thrive in other systems.

The thread tries to make sense but fails while undermining the talent of the player and at certain areas did not meet with facts and figures and just turned out to be random accusations.
