Martin Brathwaite had an embarrassing unveiling during Barcelona presentation. The striker’s life at Catalonia began at the wrong foot.
Barcelona completed the controversial signing of Martin Braithwaite from Leganes yesterday. Following the long-term injury to Ousmane Dembele and the Spanish Champions failure to address the gap in the January transfer window, the club exploited a La Liga rule that allowed them to make a stop gap signing in the former Middlesbrough striker.

Even more embarrassingly, the Spanish press seemed completely uninterested in the new signing and were more focused on directing their questions to Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu. In fact, Bartomeu was asked 8 questions while only two were asked of Braithwaite.
