Mason Greenwood goal Vs Newcastle United: Watch Manchester United youngster scoring a thumping goal against the Magpies at the Old Trafford.

Manchester United is having a brilliant game against Newcastle United, and the heat at the Old Trafford is certainly justifying the hype around the boxing day.

Such intensity by the Red Devils should be credited to Manchester United academy youngster Mason Greenwood, who made a thumping shot to bring Manchester United back in the game.

It was in the 36th minute of the game when Newcastle United’s Fabian Schar plays a sloppy pass, which allows Greenwood to acquire the ball and dribble past ahead, the 18-year-old star then makes a thumping shot at the right place which goes directly inside the goal.

Martin Dubravka remains without a response as the ball had too much power to make it stop. Meanwhile, the ball got a slight deflection which made it even more difficult for  Dubravka but the goal remains with Greenwood.

From here, Manchester United took the lead in the game, and the Red Devils took an aggressive mode in the game. Although, it was way different at the start of the game.

Manchester United was the first team to concede, as Matty Longstaff scored in the 17th minute to gain the lead, the Magpies’ player once again haunted the Manchester-based club as he scored a goal in the reverse fixture this season too.

But the equalizer goal by Anthony Martial gives confidence to his teammates and Manchester United started creating chances, but at the same time, Greenwood’s goal changed the behaviour of his team on the field.

Later, Manchester United scored another goal to make it 3-1 before half-time, as Marcus Rashford scores a fine header after receiving a splendid cross by Aaron Wan Bissaka.
