Mason Mount goal vs Leicester City: Watch Chelsea’s young forward steal a goal against the Foxes in their Premier League encounter at the Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have scored their first Premier League goal under Frank Lampard tonight. The Blues were under tremendous pressure tonight having lost both their previous matches before. Playing their first match at the Stamford Bridge under Lampard, the side are eager to start with a win.
Leicester, under Brandon Rogers, are seen as a formidable side who are in top 6 contention this summer. They have a good team with a blend of youngsters and experienced hands. However, they will regret the manner in which they conceded the goal.
In the 7th minute of the match Kasper Schmeichel collected the ball and passed it to one of the defenders. The ball was passed to N’didi who was oblivious to the fact that young Mason Mount was charging behind him. The 20-year old poached the ball from N’didi and kicked it past Schmeichel to give Chelsea their first goal of the Frank Lampard era.

Mason Mount has pick pocketed his way to become the first English player to score for Chelsea under an English manager since Dennis Wise under Glenn Hoddle against Blackburn in May 1996. Scafell.
Chelsea will now hope to keep the pressure up and put the game past Leicester City. With a lot of time left in the game still, the Blues are aware that the Foxes can also stage a comeback at any point. Both sides will be wary of each other and the managerial tactics employed will determine which of the two teams will come out on top.
