Mauricio Pochettino fights Mike Dean after the visitors suffer a 2-1 loss to Burnley in the Premier League earlier today.

Tottenham faced a huge setback in the Premier League earlier today as Pochettino’s men suffered a 2-1 defeat to Burnley.

With this loss, Tottenham stay at 60 points in the league. The game saw the return of Harry Kane, who netted the only goal for the side. However, his return failed to inspire the side to victory at Turf Moor.

After the full-time whistle, however, scenes turned ugly inside the stadium as Mauricio Pochettino and referee Mike Dean were engaged in a war of words.

The manager seemed to be clearly frustrated by Dean’s decision to award a corner to Burnley in the second half, which led to their first goal of the game.

Replays showed that Tottenham should’ve had a goal kick as ball last came off a Burnley attacker. However, Mike Dean awarded a corner to the host side, eventually leading to a goal by Chris Wood.

Even when Harry Kane soon equalized for Tottenham, Burnley took the lead again through Ashley Barnes in the 83rd minute, sealing three points for the hosts.

Here’s the video to the fight:

The gestures made by Pochettino suggest that the manager is asking Mike Dean to repeat what he said in front of the camera.
