Alexis Sanchez to Real Madrid: According to reports in Spain, Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez has been offered to the Spanish club.

Alexis Sanchez had had a hard time ever since the forward joined Manchester United. The Chilean forward has scored only four ever since he arrived at Old Trafford in January this year.

Sanchez came to United in part of a swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who joined Arsenal. However, the forward has been a mere shadow of his past so far.

This season, Sanchez has scored only one goal across all competitions, albeit the winner against Newcastle United in the Premier League.

After reports in England suggested that Sanchez is unhappy and isolated at the club, Spanish media outlets claim that Real Madrid have been offered the player.

Alexis Sanchez to Real Madrid:

According to El Chiringuito, as quoted by Spanish outlet Sport, Alexis Sanchez has been offered to Real Madrid.

The report suggests that Sanchez’s agent, Fernando Felicevich has contacted Real Madrid for a potential transfer. “Real Madrid looks like a madman for a forward in the winter market,” the pundit from El Chiringuito claimed.

“They have been offered Alexis Sánchez,” he added.

Real Madrid are not the first club Sanchez has been linked to in the past few weeks. Paris Saint Germain are also said to be keen on making a move for the Chilean forward.

Times earlier claimed that Sanchez feels isolated at Manchester United, and is on talking terms with only three members of the club squad.

Sanchez’s performances on the field are also a cause of worry for Jose Mourinho, and the Chilean forward was kept on the bench for the game against Manchester City. Even when he came on in the 73rd minute, he failed to make an impact as United lost 3-1.

What next?

It has also been suggested that Alexis Sanchez might have to take a massive pay-cut if he wishes to sign for Real Madrid.

If the deal takes place, Alexis Sanchez would add to the list of the players who played for the two giants of Spanish football and arch-rivals, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
