Argentina front man Mauro Icardi might have just dropped a big hint on his Instagram page about his highly speculated move to defending La Liga champions Real Madrid. In a move to freshen up the attacking options at the Bernabeu, Florentino Perez has sought after every top striker in Europe to land up at the Spanish capital, with Icardi being one of them.

The Inter forward has caused a storm on social media, with one post sparking talk of an imminent move for him or a sought-after colleague in Milan, Marcelo Brozovic. The 24-year-old has sparked up the flames with an image on Instagram which read: “To say goodbye is to grow.”

Icardi’s post is captioned with the words “Chau Chau” and a waving emoji.

While the post could mean anything, the speculations lead it into deciphering a chau chau from San Siro to probably Santiago Bernabeu. Many are reading between the lines and expecting a move away from Inter. Others, however, have been quick to point out that Icardi is quoting the lyrics to an Argentinean song called ‘Adios’ by Gustavo Cerati.

Not only this, the second emoji in the caption – one which resembles Brozovic’s ‘Epic Brozo’ goal celebration – has also stirred up Inter fans. This could probably mean that Marcelo Brozovic is on his way to the Premier League. Arsenal and Everton are linked with a move for the Croatian.

Icardi could, therefore, have been bidding farewell to a team-mate heading for the exits, or could himself be set for a shock Bernabeu move or could simply be in awe of the song Adios.

While the last probability carries no significance, the other two have a deadline of only two days as the January transfer window closes on Wednesday. Act fast you clubs, people are waiting for some news.

In case this is just a smoke screen, there is always the summer transfer window that is coming closer day by day. With the World Cup also on the horizon, Icardi is expected to star for Argentina, as he tried to help his nation lift the coveted trophy.

And if does indeed do that, then you can bet that the biggest clubs in the world will be circling the talented striker!
