Michael Jordan gets brilliant personal news from daughter

Michael Jordan has had some brilliant news coming in for himself in the last few weeks. Widely regarded as the greatest player of all time, Michael Jordan was crowned as the richest sports athlete of all time by the Forbes magazine a couple of weeks back.

MJ’s worth is estimated to be $1.7 billion, largely due to his brilliant investment in the Charlotte Hornets, a team whose value is constantly on the rise. Also, the royalty that MJ receives from the ‘Air Jordan’ is massive, and is sure to keep in green for years to come.

And to think about it, Jordan’s net worth was just $350 million(just in relative terms here) a year ago.

A massive hike in the TV contracts has helped all NBA teams get additional revenue, thus helping Jordan’s worth to soar high enough to breach the $1 billion mark.

Now, while this news would have been good enough for a happy, happy new year(this along with the Hornets going deep in the playoffs), Jordan has received another good news, one that should make him the happiest man on earth.

Michael Jordan’s daughter, Jasmine Jordan has announced that she is pregnant. Michael Jordan is thus going to be a grandfather in the coming months.

Jordan would be ecstatic after the news, but he hasn’t put out a formal public statement post her daughter’s announcement on Instagram.

We expect MJ to come up with a statement post the next Hornets game, where he is sure to be questioned about this wonderful news.

The Hornets next play the Brooklyn Nets tonight. The two teams had a memorable encounter a couple of nights back, with the Nets clinching an absolute cliffhanger, winning the contest 134-132.

Jasmine Jordan and Rakeem Christmas announced the news on Instagram.

Rakeem Christmas is an alumnus of Syracuse and has also played two seasons in the NBA with Indiana Pacers. He currently plies his trade for the New Zealand breakers in the National Basketball League.

The couple haven’t released when the baby is due yet.

Michael Jordan will be currently hoping that the Charlotte Hornets can make it to the playoffs and then go deep during the playoffs, as the Hornets haven’t won any playoff game under MJ’s reign.
