Mohamed Salah goal Vs Salzburg: Egyptian star scores 2nd goal with sublime finish to secure Liverpool's qualification

Mohamed Salah goal Vs Salzbur: Egyptian star of Liverpool scores the 2nd goal with an extraordinary finish to secure Reds’ qualification in RO16.

Liverpool and Salzburg as expected had a great match in the last group stage round of this edition of the Champions League. The Austrian side kept Liverpool quiet for a long period but could not maintain the cause.

Now, Liverpool with 2 goals on the board is going into the next round of the competition as the group leaders even though it seemed they will either go second with a goalless draw or Salzburg might upset them.

but two quick goals by the Reds changed the game. Mohamed Salah’s goal in the 58th minute was a thing of beauty as the Egyptian International made an exceptional finish from a really complex angle.

Cican Stankovic came off his line to close down Salah in order to prevent the goal, but the Egyptian International curls the ball towards the far post from a really tight angle just outside the box on the right-wing.

Definitely, it was one of the most mesmerizing goals of the group stages in this edition of the Champions League. Amidst all of this, some of the credits should also go to Naby Keita’s goal.

The 24-year-old scored the opening goal of the game after Sadio Mane draws Stankovic towards him and chips the ball inside. Keita at the right spot smashes the ball inside with his head towards the empty goal.

With this, Liverpool’s concerns are over as they were under a possibility of getting eliminated from the group and they just needed a win, but with match closing down, the defending champions of Europe are surely going ahead in the road.
