With Anfield surely waiting to welcome Barcelona to hell, the La Liga champions would have discussed about killing the game at hime at itself.
And Luis Suarez has allowed them to get off to the perfect start, making a brilliant run behind the defenders to nick one past Allison.
The ball was beautifully weighed in from the left side by Alba, with Suarez’s poaching instincts then taking over and the Uruguayan international calmly putting the ball past Allison.

Barcelona are now trying to run rampant and get the result way past the reach of Liverpool. The Reds on the other hand are trying to stay on their feet and keep the Barcelona front 3 at bay, a task that is easier said than done.
From the looks of it though, it seems that it is going to be a long night for Liverpool, with the odd chance of making Barca pay on the counter.
Van Dijk has done a decent enough job of keeping Messi at bay until now, with the Argentine having made some brilliant runs into the box, carrying the ball with him from midfield. But he is off the scoresheet for now, and Liverpool will want it to be that way.
