Mohamed Salah goal vs Southampton: Liverpool hero scores magical goal to win it vs Southampton and give Liverpool hope of a PL title
Mohamed Salah hadn’t scored in 55 days for Liverpool, but he found the back of the net when his team needed it the most, as Liverpool were being held to 1-1 draw against Southampton. Having equalised through Keita, Liverpool had made two changes with Milner and Henderson coming on in the 2nd half, but the way Liverpool were playing, it felt as if a draw would be what they have to be satisfied with.
They were unable to create anything in the final third and Southampton were holding firm. But with 75 minutes on the clock, Southampton got a corner, one which Ward Prowse put into the box with some venom, but was dealt with by the Liverpool defence, as the ball then went upfield to Salah, who was on his bike towards the Southampton goal.
He had Mane and Firmino with him, as the Liverpool front 3 led a counter attack that they have been so famous for as a trio. Salah attracted all the defenders towards him and while it seemed like he would square it for one of the other forwards, he banked it home in emphatic fashion.
The celebration that followed was nothing short of emphatic as Mohamed Salah took off his shirt and celebrated with the away fans.

Since then, Henderson has also scored for Liverpool and it seems like Liverpool will be going top of the table for another week, with Manchester City involved in the FA Cup this weekend.
Mohamed Salah has silenced his critics big time tonight, as critics were calling him to rise to the occasion when his team needed him the most. And today, with the game on the line, Salah has scored and helped the entire club once again believe that they can clinch the Premier League title
