We shall look at the Dream11 team between Morocco and Ivory Coast.

Morocco Vs Ivory Coast Dream11 Team

Formation: 4-3-3

GOALKEEPER

Sylvain Gbohouo: Sylvain Gbohouo starts in between the sticks for Ivory Coast. He is one of the experienced goalkeepers in the tournament, having played football with his nation over seven years. He kept a clean sheet last game and the recent performances point to more probability of Ivory Coast shutting down the opponent attackers.

DEFENDERS

Achraf Hakimi: Achraf Hakimi was sidelined for the second part of the season with Borussia Dortmund due to an injury. However, he has recovered in time to feature for his country. Since he is right-footed, he does not possesses severe attacking threat, but provides defensive solidity to his side.

Ismael Traore: Ismael Traore is the brick wall for Ivory Coast’s defence. He was instrumental in keeping the clean sheet against South Africa during the last outing. He has a threat from the set pieces and could cause disruption in that part. Additionally, he makes plenty of tackles and interventions.

Medhi Benatia: Skipper Medhi Benatia in the first name on the team sheet for Morocco. He controls the whole team from the back with his excessive commands. He has slowed down in recent times, but has the capability to shut down the attackers with his reading of the game. He scores goals from corners and free-kicks as well.

Wonlo Coulibaly: Wonlo Coulibaly operates through the left defensive flank for Ivory Coast. Just like Hakimi, Coulibaly does not spend time in the opposition half often. He likes to sit back with the defence and help the midfield and forward line push further up the pitch. Coulibaly is an important member for Ivory Coast side.

MIDFIELDERS

Hakim Ziyech: Hakim Ziyech is one of the exciting players in European top division leagues currently. He has enormous work rate and does well in the defensive and offensive areas of the pitch. Ziyech is an extraordinary creator and has goals in him. He can change the game within an eyeblink.

Nicolas Pepe: Nicolas Pepe looked out of his groove during the first game against South Africa. However, he is a serious dribbler, who can get past defenders and score goals for fun. He had a breakthrough season with Lille and his talent is valued by his national side too. He provides the width and could have his say on Friday.

Nordin Amrabat: Nordin Amrabat is originally a right winger, but played through the left attacking flank last game. He is a very good forward, who has the eye to pick out passes and contribute to the final third of the game also. He also takes set pieces, making him a cardinal player for Morocco.

FORWARDS

Wilfried Zaha: Max Gradel started over Wilfried Zaha in the last game week, but the latter is expected to be included in the starting lineup. He has nimble feet and has the capacity to go past opponents for fun. He is a machine, which likes to create and score goals – cutting through the left-hand side.

Jonathan Kodjia (C): Jonathan Kodjia is the talisman for Ivory Coast and scored against South Africa in the last game also. Should he get proper supply, he has the capability to score goals for fun. With the likes of Wilfried Zaha, Nicolas Pepe, and Jean-Michel Seri behind him, Kodjia will not be in shortage for creativity.

Youssef En-Nesyri (VC): Youssef En-Nesyri did not enjoy a good outing last time, but one cannot write him off for a tame game. He has a tremendous track record with his country, scoring six times in 21 appearances. He can stretch the game by providing width to run into the free space. Besides being labelled as a good goalscorer, he has the adroitness to find passes as well.
