"Abort mission!": Charles Barkley's latest GUARANTEE of a Sixers win in Game 5 vs Hawks brings out fire show on Studio J, TNT

Charles Barkley has been entertaining us all by hitting his GUARANTEE button on DraftKings over/under bets all through these playoffs.

A 16-year NBA legend and a sportscaster for even longer, Chuck is most basketball fans’ favorite studio presence. His inability to keep a filter on himself even on live TV is too relatable for the most of us. In addition, Chuck often has takes that fans desperately want heard on TV.

Every time Barkley gets on the studio and has got something to say, it’s usually worth listening. Most likely its satire, but even when its not, Chuck is always raising concerns that we’ve all got on our minds as well.

Chuck’s also got a penchant for making some very, very inaccurate predictions and bets. Through this year, he’s already bet $100,000 on the Blazers making the NBA Finals (spoiler alert: they aren’t).

His last 2 guarantees have been virtual disasters for the teams he backed. Chuck picked the Sixers to win Game 4 and the Bucks to win Game 5 of their respective series. Both teams gave up double-digit leads to lose their games by close margins.

Charles Barkley hits the guarantee button and Studio J lights up with a fire show

However, it seems that Chuck has hit some money on his latest GUARANTEE. Ahead of Game 5 between the Sixers and Hawks today, Chuck emphatically backed the Sixers to take a 3-2 series lead.

The Inside crew seem to have resolved to keep Chuck’s GUARANTEE segments as the show’s major draw. So they’re bringing out newer and more fascinating touches to his GUARANTEES every time he hits the button.

Today’s antics featured a fire show on studio, which was why fire marshals were called to the building in case of emergencies. As you can see from the clip below, they were probably not needed at the time.
