After $5,000,000 ‘Help’ for Naomi Osaka, LeBron James Uses His ‘$725 Million Muscle’ to Back Joel Embiid’s New Dream
Being one of the most successful players in NBA history, LeBron James has racked up almost $430 million through his career earnings alone. Apart from the money James has made from his NBA salaries, being a smart businessman, he has also generated a lot of revenue from his lucrative business ventures and investments, which have boosted his net worth to $1 billion. Now in a position where he can provide a platform for his peers, LeBron’s $725 million-worth SpringHill Company has already allowed Naomi Osaka to raise $5,000,000 for her own idea. Now, the King is utilizing his resources to help the 2023 NBA Most Valuable Player Joel Embiid.
Osaka’s creation ‘Hana Kuma’ recently announced a $5,000,000 raise, with the Los Angeles Lakers star’s production company being one of the chief investors. After helping the Tennis sensation’s cause, the four-time NBA Champion is set to help Embiid launch a media company called Miniature Géant.
Joel Embiid to partner with LeBron James to launch his own media company
Embiid is set to use Miniature Géant as a platform to narrate stories of people with difficult routes to success. A statement from an official press release read, “Miniature Géant will pursue stories across multi-media channels…with the goal of expanding the aperture to showcase people who have taken nontraditional paths to success buoyed by a sense of determination and belief.”
One of the projects in the pipeline is a documentary on Joel’s inspiring journey to the National Basketball Association. Excited about sharing his improbable rise from the streets of Cameroon, the 7-feet star cannot wait to share his story with the world.
“I came to America when I was 16 years old, just three months after I picked up a basketball… I’ve often said my life is like a movie, and now I am fortunate enough to be in a position to create the stories that I know will resonate with kids around the world and encourage them to dream big,” Embiid said, while talking about the upcoming movie, as per Shadow and Act.
Partnering with LBJ’s $725 million production house, Embiid hopes to make a huge impact with this new venture of his. Have a look at the details in Stefan Bondy’s tweet.

SpringHill company’s projects
The production company founded in 2020, has provided us with numerous entertaining films. While the talk show ‘The Shop’ is their most famous project, SpringHill has produced other projects such as What’s My Name: Muhammad Ali and Fantasy Football.
Of course, with LeBron being the founder, the entertainment house has created several basketball-related films as well, like the Hustle, The Redeem Team, and Space Jam: A New Legacy. SpringHill has also produced the recently released movie Shooting Stars-a biography on the high school career of King James.
