Are Bronny James and Zaire Wade Still Close? How are LeBron James and Dwyane Wade’s Sons’ NBA Futures Looking in 2023?
Bronny James is lighting up the world with his talent right now. After years of being doubted as a future NBA prospect, the 18-year-old is starting woo scouts all around. His feel for the game is similar to LeBron James’s. And once that’s placed next to his shooting, handles, defense, and god-given athleticism, the picture starts to look mesmerizing, to say the least.
However, the King’s son once teamed up with a certain other NBA player. And while Bronny’s career looks to be on the up and up, this other young man’s future is no longer looking so rosy.
What is going on with Dwyane Wade’s son, Zaire Wade?
Zaire Wade and Bronny James teamed up together on the Sierra Canyon Trail Blazer way back in 2019.
At the time, LeBron James’s son was coming off the bench, but still showed glimpses of his incredible talent. And of course, Dwyane Wade’s son wasn’t exactly far off either.
However, as time has gone on, fate hasn’t been very kind to Wade.
After injuring his ankle in his senior year, Zaire decided to transfer to Brewster Academy, hoping for more playing time. Unfortunately for him, he failed to show out at the time.
Then the young man decided to join the Utah Jazz’s G-League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars. However, so far, he hasn’t shown much there either, averaging just 1.8 points on just 25.8% from the field.
The 20-year-old plays over 18 minutes per game.
The word abysmal would perhaps be too harsh for the man. After all, he is still very young, and still has quite a bit of time to improve.
However, he needs to start to show results soon. Or else he could find his NBA dreams on the rocks very, very soon.
Are Bronny James and Zaire Wade still friends?
Oftentimes, when one faces more success than the other, a relationship can go sour very quickly. But fortunately, that hasn’t been the case here.
As per reports, the two are still on talking terms, and still, wish the best for each other.
Hopefully, there will be a day when fans are treated to the sight of both of them in the NBA.
