Celtics starting lineup 2020: Kemba Walker’s first season in Boston
When the Celtics let Kyrie Irving and Terry Rozier go before the start of this season, there was a big question mark that who will lead the young Boston lineup.
The Celtics added Kemba Walker from Charlotte this season.
The multiple-time All-Star has hit the ground running in Boston. Walker has averaged 21.2 points and 4.9 assists per game this season. He has worked very well with the young promising team and has built a lethal partnership with high flying Jason Tatum.
How have the youngsters fared so far this season?
The Boston outfit has one of the most younger starting lineups in the NBA this season. They have two starters that are under the age of 24, being Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
On occasion, Marcus Smart will start, and he is just 25 years old. Boston does not have a starter over the age of 30, and they are clicking with Brad Stevens at the helm.
Jason Tatum is averaging 23.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game this season. Whereas, Jaylen Brown is averaging 20.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game this season. Both of the youngsters are having their best season in the NBA this term and have led the Celtics into a playoff birth. Jason Tatum was even named in the NBA-All Star team this season.
Jayson Tatum scored 41 PTS in three quarters for the @celtics in January!

Marcus Smart is the team’s, 6th man but has made a few starts due to injury to Gordon Hayward. Smart has had a decent season averaging 13.5, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game this season.
But with Hayward now fit, Smart would most likely go back to his role of the bench at the NBA Bubble.
The one position that has been lackluster over the last few seasons for the Celtics has been Center. Daniel Theis has played well as the starting center as he splits time with Enes Kanter. Theis has over 50 starts for Boston this season, which is a career-high.
