Many of us are still tied to the concept of paper money despite its reduced use by urban populations. Cash money just feels different for most of us who’ve grown up using it. Using cash allows us to remember our expenses better, as proved by a study posted on Wall Street Journal.
And yet, most people living in big cities today have stopped carrying wallets around. A major chunk of this demographic now uses a card carrier or a simple tack-on with their phones to put their cards on. Most payments in Asia, for example, now take place via phone.
Ernie Johnson roasts Charles Barkley for still carrying a wallet around
Charles Barkley shouted out the kind soul who returned his wallet after it went missing at Chipotle today. The Chuckster didn’t hesitate to take his name and acknowledge him as a Bulldogs fan:
“I lost my wallet today, Ernie. And Matt Pyles (P-Y-L-ES) I hope I said his name correctly, he returned it. He got in touch with TNT and gave em my wallet back and that was really awesome. I lost it at Chipotle, and I didn’t even know it!”
Ernie, like a few other neomodern urban citizens, was quite surprised that Chuck still carries his wallet in this digital day and age. Ernie didn’t hesitate to bring this up on the show:
‘You still carry a wallet? Are you like the only person in the world today who still carries a wallet?”
Chuck was undeterred by these comments as he was still in a good mood regarding Matt’s act of honesty. He continued to shout out Matt till the end of this clip.
“Hey Matt, you’re a Georgia Bulldog, thank you.”
“Are you like the only person in the world who still carries a wallet?”

Kenny and Shaq, meanwhile, confirmed that just like Ernie, they don’t carry wallets around all that often any more. This left Chuck surprised that he’s the only member of the Inside crew to consistently have a wallet on him.
