Shannon Sharpe expressed his dismay for Chris Tucker, who omitted LeBron James from his all-time NBA starting lineup on Shay’s podcast.

The Lakers star is at worst a top 3 basketball player of all time by all credible accounts. Most people have James in their top 2, and there’s a sizeable faction that has anointed him as the greatest of all time. All in all, James is undisputedly the greatest player to ever have played at the small forward position.
Therefore, he’s an automatic selection to practically everyone’s starting five alongside Michael Jordan. It’s very rare to see anyone credibly able to defend leaving James off their top 5.
Shannon Sharpe is among those who strongly advocate for LeBron James as the GOAT. He’s worn goat masks to the Undisputed studio whenever he’s wished to emphatically make this point. It does tend to leave a great impression on most viewers of arguably the best sports talk show.
Shannon Sharpe roasts Chris Tucker for leaving LeBron James off his starting 5
Appearing on the Club Shay Shay podcast, Hollywood sensation Chris Tucker rattled off his all-time starting 5:
“Bill Russell, cuz he knows my name. Michael Jordan, Kobe, Magic and Kareem.”
Sharpe was obviously shocked by this response: “How’re you gonna leave GOAT James off the list?”
Tucker relented by conceding defeat for a bit: “Oh man, forgive me, you know what, that’s my boy too. Put LeBron on there, he’s coming in for the guys as the 6th man.”
How’s Tuck going to have GOAT JAMES coming off the bench 🤣🤣 https://t.co/wA1zSLfBGv

Tucker knew in all probability what Shannon’s take on the GOAT debate is, and only left James off the list to piss him off. Rick Ross did the same thing on his appearance on Shannon’s podcast last week.
