LeBron James takes to Twitter to laugh at Kobe Bryant saying he wouldn’t care about receiving a compliment from any player in the NBA.

If there was one thing Kobe Bryant was known for in the NBA, it was his nonchalant behavior towards other players in the NBA. Whether he was going up against an injury-ravaged team playing its bench-warmers for the night, or the top-rated defense with multiple All-NBA caliber players, he went above and beyond to give the defense hell, or at least try to.
Perhaps what helped Kobe cement his name in the annals of NBA history as one of the deadliest scorers of all time, was the fact that he didn’t go easy on players just because he was close to them off the court.
What helped him even more when it came to maintaining his ‘Mamba Mentality’ was, just like Michael Jordan, that he wasn’t all too buddy-buddy with many players in the league. This is perfectly highlighted in a video LeBron James reacted to on Twitter.
LeBron James reacts to Kobe Bryant saying he doesn’t care about any of the players in the league
LeBron James, enamored by his late friend/rival’s response to the question, “If you were to receive a compliment from one player in the league, whose compliment would mean the most to you,” took to Twitter to show his appreciation for the answer Kobe Bryant gave.
In true Kobe fashion, he said, “I don’t really care about any of them.”

Considering the circumstances of the time of this interview taking place, it makes sense that Kobe wouldn’t really care about what players thought about him across the league.
This interview was taken right after the 5x champ had announced his retirement from the NBA in the 2015-16 season. It made any other player’s opinion on seem pointless, as he was out of the league in a few months.
With Kobe Bryant’s much-deserved Hall of Fame induction taking place this year with Michael Jordan being the one to induct him into the HoF, it’s heartwarming to see throwback videos of the Black Mamba like this.
